Hi, I’m Karen!

 

I am a woman, a mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a solid human, a friend, a lover, a dreamer, a listener, a curious soul that loves to hear people’s stories, to learn what makes them who they are.  I love to learn about people, I like to see human nature in action and I love to be a genuine influence on people and their journey.

 

My own journey has taken me from growing up in New Hampshire to working and living in Baltimore, New York, New Jersey, Dallas, and now right here in Virginia Beach where I have lived for the past four years. My husband is an executive with the Navy Exchange Service Command, my daughter attends middle school here in Virginia Beach, and I proudly volunteer with the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society.

 

I am told that I am a supportive and trusted resource, kind, genuine and caring individual that wants what is best for a person, whether it is a client, friend or family member.  Honestly, saying that sounds funny to me, almost “boastful”, but it is who I am, something that has come with age and experience, and something that I am very proud of.

 

A friend of mine once asked me, “what are you most passionate about?”  I told her, being someone my daughter can look to for guidance, nonjudgmental advice and unconditional love.  I want her to want to emulate the best parts of me and learn from the worst parts.  

 

I believe in being present in the moment. By truly investing the time to get to know someone.  By asking questions and really listening, by spending more time with a client up front, I will be able to research more concisely and help find someone your dream home, saving you time and aggravation and helping to invest in one’s sweet journey.
